Digital TV signals are here at last...

Most TV stations are broadcasting on the UHF band,
however there are some that are going back to their original
VHF frequency in an effort to cover their previous area.

These two antennas are among the best choices for both if
your location is more than 30 miles from the stations you are
trying to receive.
In most cases an antenna pre-amplifier is recommended in
order to overcome loss due to cable length and any splitters
installed in your antenna system.

...and due to the fact that all channels do not come in from
the same direction, a rotor is almost always a necessity.

If you live in a rural area and want to receive all of the digital
stations possible, you will be looking at an over-all cost of
$300 to $500 or even up to $700 when you include all of the
accessory items required. (Coax, new splitter, mounting hardware,
and labor if you need to hire help).

But hey, the cable will cost you $30 - $40 and up per month.

Looks like a good pay-off is you are in the right location.
