These high-quality "leaderless" Courtroom Cassette tapes come in a box of 500. Each tape is 92 minutes and has the unique courtroom label shown below. These leaderless, instant start, court recording cassettes are perfect for the most common Lanier four channel recorder and others used in many courtrooms across the nation. 

The leaderless cassette shell is assembled with screws unlike other cassettes making it possible to open and repair the cassette or salvage the tape if it is damaged due to a recorder malfunction. Our #616142 Instant start, leaderless, courtroom cassette is manufactured with the highest quality tape medium.  We do not use an inexpensive mylar medium like other low-cost cassette manufacturers.

Standard cassette tapes, unlike courtroom recording cassettes, have clear mylar leaders that are used to attach the recording tape to the cassettes hub. Courtroom cassettes are "leaderless" so that recording will begin immediately without the delay caused by the mylar leader used on standard cassettes. (Instant start-Leaderless)
